ABOUT ME
As a copywriter, you often get tasked with a lot more than you signed up for. And that's one of my favorite parts about the job.
In my decade's worth of experience as a professional writer, I've had the privilege of working on everything from creative marketing campaigns to app microcopy. I've honed my skills not only as a wordsmith, but as a content strategist and an advocate for user experience.
And at the end of a long day, my favorite thing to do when I come home is – you guessed it – write. My creative endeavors, namely songwriting and poetry, influence and inspire my copywriting every day, and vice versa.
What can I say? A passion's a passion.

COPYWRITING
Back in 2012, I started my career as a creative marketing copywriter. Over the years, I've worked with household brands like Crate & Barrel, Walgreens, Wilson Sporting Goods, Sears, and Kmart, on everything from banner ads to social media posts to total rebrands. Big, small, and everything in between – I've written it.
USER EXPERIENCE
In 2017, I made the transition from creative copywriting to UX copywriting, and I've never loved what I'm doing more. Working on microcopy for the Walgreens App has changed the way I think about writing – now, I think of every word as a guidepost to help our users get from point A to point B.
CONTENT STRATEGY
As the sole mobile UX copywriter for Walgreens since 2017, I've learned so much about the power of words. Writing for the user experience means advocating, problem solving, and considering how every character shapes the customer journey – in a word, UX writing means strategy.
